Turn Your Defender HD9 into a Powerhouse with GDP Portals
Take your Can-Am Defender HD9 to the next level with SuperATVs 6 Portal Gear Lift. With 6 of lift and built-in gear reduction; youll get improved torque; better ground clearance; and the freedom to run larger tires safely. Pick a 30%; 45% or 60% gear reduction to suit your terrain; and for extra strength; upgrade from cast to billet aluminum housing. Still worried you wont have enough power? Our dual idler portals are a serious game changer.
What is a Dual Idler?
Perfection takes time. After years of research and development; weve made our dual idler gear portals unlike any other. By placing a second idler gear in the portal box; the load gets spread over twice as much surface area for more reliable torque transfer and the strongest gear set you can get. Two idler gears dont do a thing if theyre not mated perfectly; though. Precision CNC grinding ensures ours do. Our gears are made from the industrys toughest 9310 steel alloy.
Ride on any Terrain
Your ride feel can change with a gear reduction. Go with 30% if you want quicker speeds without losing torque. If your tires are bigger and the trails are rough; 45% gives you the boost and control you need to handle it all. Build the supreme off-road beast with a 60% gear reduction; then amplify its strength using dual idler gears.
Less Strain on Your Drivetrain
With GDP Portals; the gear reduction is in the wheel hubs; not inside the transmission. That means your Defender HD9s drivetrain takes less strain. Your axles; driveshaft; differential; and transmission all work easier; which cuts down on wear and avoids expensive fixes.
Unparalleled Strength
Nobody wants to keep replacing parts. Our GDP Portals are built tough with cast or billet aluminum housing and 5/16 backing plates made from advanced steel alloy. They can handle serious abuse—and with a lifetime warranty; you get peace of mind too.
Our housings are reinforced for gear retention and optimized for oil flow
Advanced Gaskets; Seals; and Bearings
Our portals use:
Add an Unbeatable Frame Stiffener
