Dynojet Power Vision 3 now with PWRTune performance tuning for the Can-Am X3 Maverick X3 is a performance tuner and data monitor that offers the latest flash tuning technology, real-time data monitoring, and more. Using the DynoJet Power Vision 3 you can now purchase one or more of our performance tunes for your X3 and have the added benefit of live telemetry, data logging, read and clear trouble codes, and more. Your Power Vision unit will come pre-loaded with the tune(s) of your choice customized with your options. 

The Power Vision unit plugs into your vehicles data port, you select your tune and program to your car (takes about 15 minutes). You can put back to stock anytime. Once flashed with a performance tune the screen will show live telemetry: engine temp, boost, throttle position, etc. You can leave the Power Vision plugged in or you can disconnect and leave it in the trailer, your tune will remain in your cars ECU.

For your 2017 you can also purchase a 2018 Turbo R fuel pump $280, send in your ECU for upgrade to a stock 2018 Turbo R format, and then run these same 2018 Turbo R spec tunes on a Power Vision. There is no charge for the ECU upgrade to 2018 Turbo R format but you will have to send your ECU in for that. When putting your car back to a stock tune flash your stock tune would then be stock 2018 Turbo R.

PWRTune 2018-2019 X3 Turbo R

X3 Turbo R what a beast! But we are here to make it better faster meaner. 100+ miles of dyno testing and just finished up field testing for drive-ability our Can-Am tunes are going to be tearing up the competition once again. Our pump gas tunes have been tested at both sea level and altitude and have proven to be reliable and fast. 

Putting down 148 stock wheel HP is an impressive number. I have seen lower stock wheel HP numbers out there but one thing to remember is that the X3 will not make power to its potential until it has some hours and miles on it. The machine our baseline numbers were ran on had over 100 miles and 5hrs of drive time. A brand new machine with no miles may run lets say 136HP but that's not a realistic power number when the same machine will run 148 after it has had enough time on it. 

The big power increase from the 2017 to 2018 does come in part to it's higher stock boost levels. A 2018 machine that is broke in and ready to be driven hard will run an average of 14 pounds of boost, up from the 12 pound average of the 2017. So the HP gains from a 2018 compared to a 2017 are not as big but we are already starting off making a lot more power. 

Tuning stages 1-3int are meant to be used with a good quality premium fuel with a minimum octane rating of 91 and performance at an average of 15.5 pounds of boost. You do not need to modify your waste gate crack pressure with these tunes the stock 6psi crack is what you want. Also there is no need for larger fuel injectors. Stages 2+ I would suggest performance clutching, KWI is the most knowledgeable with the X3. 

Super Stock is a tune with improved fueling, ignition timing, and additional standard tune features but with a stock 14psi average boost.

We have a Stage 1 tune for an all stock machine (stock exhaust) that makes a very impressive 163.5 rear wheel HP which is an increase of 15.5 HP over stock. 

Our Stage 2 is tuned for use with a modified exhaust, either a cat delete pipe running the stock muffler. Or inversely a performance muffler running the stock cat pipe. Both have proven to be a similar performance mod removing some of the stock exhaust restriction. At 165.4 rear wheel HP and an increase of 17.4 HP over stock. 

For a full performance exhaust that removes the stock catalytic converter and has an open performance muffler we have a Stage 3. With an increase of 20.4 HP over stock this tune runs about 168 rear wheel HP. We have tested this with a Trinity Full System, our own in house made Bullet race muffler and the new Treal Performance 3" system. Power gains are very similar over all the open performance exhausts tested with slight low end TQ gains in favor of the 3" and really loud Bullet. Overall max HP is very very similar with any open performance exhaust we have tested. 

Now for the best power on pump gas and my favorite our Stage 3int tune setup to be used with out X3 Velocity Intake System. At well over 170 rear wheel HP these are numbers we didn't see with the 2017 X3 until you started running high boost and high octane race fuel. It was easy with the 2018 Stage 3int tune to get a HP number over 177 doing a "hero run" on a cooled down car, the 173.7 rear wheel HP number you see on the dyno graph is representative of no BS on an X3 that is up to full temp and had been run over and over. 

Our Stage 4 tunes require a minimum of 93 octane unleaded fuel for safety and best performance.

nice tuner. has data logging capabilities and if you want to ride with it plugged in, it has an option for gauges. customer service from staff at treal performance was second to none. they are fantastic and went out of their way to help me through some issues.
